Body: Abstract Expression of the Column
The lamp's body has the form of a cylindrical column , hand-sculpted from a material such as rough concrete or plaster. The surface of this mass is slightly roughened and covered in a matte texture, conveying an authentic sense of craftsmanship that rejects industrial coldness. Small, spherical protrusions (auricles) protruding from the sides of the body add an anthropomorphic dimension to the piece, evoking the abstractions of Brâncuși or the architectural simplicity of primitive idols .
Light and Shadow: Artistic Isolation
The lampshade is a simple, thick cylinder , with the same textural language and color as the body.
