Great, this is the second, more horizontal and organic piece of the "Aegean" series.
(While preparing the description, I based my work on the long, fluid and multi-lobed sculptural object images coded Noa_Gammelgaard_01_Chalk_Sculpture_Lifestyle_Low_Res.jpg and Noa_Gammelgaard_01_Chalk_Sculpture_Close_Up_2_Low_Res.jpg , which I believe belong to this product (Ege Lua).)
Aegean Lua Handmade Sculptural Object
Aegean Lua reinterprets the artistic legacy of the "Aegean" series in a more horizontal and fluid form. This entirely handmade artistic object combines the minimalist and biomorphic (life-like) forms of Aegean civilizations with the celestial, organic elegance of the name "Lua" (Moon).
In contrast to the vertical "Aegean" form, the design, with its 40 cm height, adds horizontal balance to the space. Its sculptural form, composed of interlocking soft, cloud-like lobes, resembles a stone shaped by natural erosion.
Its surface has the texture of raw plaster and an authentic finish that bears traces of handcrafting (wabi-sabi). Its slim 9 cm profile makes it an ideal artistic focal point, especially for narrow consoles, fireplace tops and bookshelves.
